The Problem
Not all multivitamins are alike
We don't need everything that comes in a standard multivitamin. Most of us can get a lot of the nutrients we need through diet alone.
But we struggle with a few nutrients that are insufficient from most diets or our body does a poor job of absorbing it - Vitamins B12, K2, and D3, and minerals Zinc and Selenium.
The Solution
Zero in on nutritional gaps and skip the rest

THE FORMULATION STRATEGY
A Food First Approach
We’re all about a food-first approach to nutrient intake, and believe a multivitamin
should only help fill the gaps in your diet. Hence delta is formulated to have the 5 core
yet hard to come by through diet nutrients.
The formula isn't just about getting these vitamins and minerals independently — it's about what they do together. The ingredients truly complement each other, to improve absorption rates and benefits to your body.

YOUR QUESTIONS
Frequently Avoided Questions
-
Why do you not have Calcium?
There is adequate Calcium available in diet. But what is less known is without Calcium helper nutrients like Vitamins D3 and K2-7, Calcium is of no use to bone health and could in fact be detrimental. Hence we skip Calcium in delta and prioritize the helper nutrients to help support the Calcium you can easily get from your diet.
-
Why do you not have Vitamin C?
We can get enough Vitamin C from our diets on a daily basis. And its deficiency is less common and intermittent. Delta is formulated for everyday use for everyone.
-
Do I really need B12?
Vegans and those on plant-based diets absolutely must supplement. While it’s possible to get enough B12 from fortified foods like nutritional yeast, you would need 3 or more servings per day to meet the recommended daily intake.
Those over the age of 65 tend to also have lower B12 levels, so they may also consider
supplementation. As with all supplements, you should ideally have a blood test to first
confirm your B12 levels. -
Why do you use Cyanocobalamin than Methylcobalamin of B12?
Cyanocobalamin is the form that is approved under FSSAI and not methylcobalamin. In the country where we distribute our products, we strictly adhere to the regulatory body's list of approved molecules and ingredients. A 2017 study suggests that Methylcobalamin may be easier for the body to use (more bioavailable) than the cyanocobalamin form, which the body must convert
-
What kind of Vitamin D do you use?
Our Vitamin D comes from the plant lichen. It’s also the D3 version rather than the D2. Scientific studies have suggested vitamin D3 to be better at raising vitamin D levels than D2 (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21289249/). Most Vitamin D found in supplements is made from secretions from sheep's fat glands called lanolin. We prefer to use plantbased nutrients, which are just as potent. Our Vitamin D3 is vegan and made from plants!
-
What is the shelf life of delta?

-
Can I take delta if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding we recommend consulting with your health care
practitioner.

YOU CAN'T BEAT EXPERIENCE
Common deficiency of Scarce Nutrients
"As a vegan, I knew that I needed to take vitamin B12, vitamin D, and Zinc and K2-7, so I laboriously took them separately. Enter delta — all these necessary nutrients in smart gummy. I love the ingredients, and how basic it is with just what i need. Why didn't somebody think of this before?"

The Challenging Five
The Challenging Five

Vitamin D3
Darker skin tones have a reduced ability of the synthesis vitamin D3 in the skin. Add to that factors like climate, pollution, clothing, indoor lifestyle can make even tougher to synthesize enough vitamin D via sunlight, and diet isn’t a reliable source either

Vitamin B12
B12 isn’t produced by our bodies or plants. Neither does it naturally occur in any plant-based lifestyle food but is produced by microbes in soil containing cobalt. Declining soil quality from intensive over-farming is making the soil deficient in cobalt

Vitamin K2-7
Vitamin K2-7 is found in very few foods like some cheese and natto. Vitamin K2 is found in some fermented grass-fed cheese, fermented soy (natto) and some fermented veggies. Our bioavailable form comes from a soyfree source that can be difficult to find in food.

Zinc
Deficiency becomes common as we age because of the body's inability to absorb.

Selenium
Deficiency becomes common as we age because of the body's inability to absorb.
